Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria macrospora)
- Spray neem oil 3% or Bacillus subtilis @ 0.5% on 60, 90 and 120 DAS
- Treat seeds with Trichoderma viride @ 4g/kg
- Remove and destroy the infected plant debris
- Apply Trichoderma viride @1.0 kg/ac along with 20 kg FYM basally
- Treat seeds with T. viride @ 4 g/kg or Bacillus subtilis @ 10 g/kg seed
- Remove and destroy the infected plant debris
- Apply Bacillus subtilis @ 1.0 kg/ acre along with 20 kg FYM basally
- Harvest kapas at an interval of 5-7 days
- Immediately after harvesting, shade dry the kapas to avoid discolouration
