Foliar diseases

Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria macrospora)

  • Spray neem oil 3% or Bacillus subtilis @ 0.5% on 60, 90 and 120 DAS
  • Treat seeds with Trichoderma viride @ 4g/kg
  • Remove and destroy the infected plant debris
  • Apply Trichoderma viride @1.0 kg/ac along with 20 kg FYM basally
  • Treat seeds with T. viride @ 4 g/kg or Bacillus subtilis @ 10 g/kg seed
  • Remove and destroy the infected plant debris
  • Apply Bacillus subtilis @ 1.0 kg/ acre along with 20 kg FYM basally
  • Harvest kapas at an interval of 5-7 days
  • Immediately after harvesting, shade dry the kapas to avoid discolouration
