• Shoot fly can be controlled with furrow application of phorate 10 G at 25 kg/ha
• Soil application of phorate 10G at 25 kg/ha for white grub control

Biological

• Egg – Trichogramma and Telenomus
• Larval – Apanteles , Bracon chiensis
• Pupal – Tetrastichus ayyari
