Groundnut bud borer: Anarsia ephippias Symptoms of damage:
- Larva bores into terminal buds and shoots.
- Leaflets emerging from central spindle with shot-holes initially.
- In severe infestation leaflets with midribs only.
Identification of the pest:
- Larvae: Chocolate brown coloured and 10-15 mm long
