Apply and spread 12.5 t/ha of FYM or compost

Application of Fertilizers

• Apply NPK fertilizer as per soil test recommendations as far as possible. If the soil testing is not done, follow the blanket recommendations of 25 : 40 :20 kg NPK/ha.
• Apply full dose of NPK basally before sowing.

Sowing

Velimasal seeds are to be treated with Rhizobial culture at 3 packets/ha (600 g).

Seed Production

• Basal NPK @ 25:40:20 kg/ ha-1
• After first cut – 45:60:40 kg NPK ha-1 as basal
