Deficiency Symptoms

  • Older leaves become chlorotic at margins and between veins
  • Interveinal chlorosis in older leaves.
  • Streaked appearance of leaves.
  • Inverted – V – shape green colour at base of the leaf.
  • Necrotic spots in leaves.

Correction Measures

  • Foliar application of 0.5% MgSO 4 (5 g / litre of water) two times at 15 days interval
