- Mycelium - septate, branched & light pink to brown
- Acervuli - simple globose and dark brown
- Conidiophore - erect and hyaline
- Conidia - hyaline, one celled, oval or oblong
- Survives on crop debris as acervuli
- Spores dispersed by rain splash
