Phosphorus

Phosphorus Deficiency Symptoms Branching suppressed and stalks slender. Lower leaves become dull dark and greyish green. Necrosis of majority of leaves is followed by defoliation. Correction Measure 2% DAP (20g/lit) foliar spray at fortnightly intervals, after the appearance of deficiency symptoms. [Soak 2 kg of DAP in 20 lit of water over night and in the next day morning filter the solution. Add one lit per tank (10 lit tank) and 20 tanks (200 lit) should be sprayed for an acre]. .
