Agro-techniques for rice fallow greengram :
- Seed rate: 30 kg/ha
- Time of Sowing: Second fortnight of January to second fortnight of February.
- Seed treatment: Treat the seeds with Bacillus subtilis 10 g kg-1 and 600 g each of biofertilizers viz., Rhizobium , and Phosphobacteria , using rice gruel is recommended
- Sowing : Four days before harvest of rice crop, broadcast the greengram seed in waxy soil moisture condition.
(OR) Sowing with mechanized seed drill after harvest of rice crop.
- Foliar nutrition: At flowering stage, apply TNAU pulse wonder at 5 kg /ha as foliar spray.
