Symptom of damage: Grubs feed on the secondary rootlets Adults cause irregular notching on the leaf margins Identification of the pest: Adult: Grey coloured weevil Larva – Grubs have four instars. Larval period - 55 – 70 days. Pupa – Pupation occurs in soil. Pupal period 23 - 33 days. Adult - Grey coloured weevil.
