Tea mosquito bug: Helopeltis theivora Symptoms of damage
- Nymphs and adults severely attack the plant by feeding on the tender foliage.
- Necrotic lesions develop around the feeding puncture leaving shot holes on the lamina.

- Adult - black colour with red thorax, black and white abdomen and greenish brown wings.
Management
- Spray phosalone 2ml / lit of water in the evening hours for better control.
